Collin County Community College offers several methods to learn the Cisco CCNA curriculum. Our courses are typically offered in 8-week sessions.
Classes meet either Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday, or all day Saturday. The weekday classes are offered during the daytime or during the evening. CCNA classes are offered at the Spring Creek campus or at the Preston Ridge campus. Please refer to the Course Schedule for more information.
Currently there are two learning methods offered for the CCNA courses:
1) For Traditional sections, students come to campus for every class meeting, both for lecture and for lab activities.
2) All Blended sections are paired with a traditional Cisco section (see below). Both sections meet together on the first day of the semester at the time, date, and campus and room designated for the traditional section. If you have registered for a Blended section, you can locate the matching traditional section on the course Schedule or email ccrisson@ccccd.edu. Look for the section number of your Blended course and you will find the meeting time for the matching traditional course.
Cisco 1 = ITCC 1302
Cisco 2 = ITCC 1306
Cisco 3 = ITCC 1342
Cisco 4 = ITCC 1346
Weekday Blended classes meet on-campus one day each week for lab activities. The alternate day is for lecture and students attend the lecture remotely. You must have high-speed Internet access either at home or an alternate site.
